Welcome to the Nelson Open

The Nelson Paragliding Open is an FAI Cat 2 comp based in Nelson New Zealand. This year it is also the 1st round of the New Zealand National Paragliding championships. We have great mountain flying sites and regularly head down the rainbow valley, as shown in the photo above.

Cost: Early entry - $125
Includes: CAT-2 Sanctioning, Prizes, Prize Giving, Maps, Comp Levy

Registration:

8am, 2nd January 2010

Late registration can arranged for pilots unable to make registration on the 2nd. GPS turnpoints will be available for download at registration and to those who arrange late registration. Late registration without prior arrangement will result in having to manually enter turn point coordinates.

Pilot Briefing & Comittee Elections:

8am, 2nd January 2010 (COMPULSORY FOR ALL PILOTS)

Daily Briefings:

8.00am or 9.00am
